CASE STUDY

LimoGroup

A web application for limousine bookings

Design and development of the LIMOGROUP website: a luxury transportation booking experience with a dedicated back office for fleet, driver, and reservation management.

LIMOGROUP fleet limousine

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Book a limousine and run operations from one platform.

The LIMOGROUP website showcases a premium fleet — Mercedes S-Class, Rolls-Royce Phantom, and stretch limousine — and guides customers from discovery to booking.

PRODUCT CONTEXT

The public experience uses a dark, gold-accented visual language focused on the fleet, chauffeur services, and booking. The application clearly separates the customer-facing experience from the internal workspace, using ReactJS and NestJS, PostgreSQL and Prisma for data, Docker for containerisation, and AWS for hosting.

VALUE DELIVERED

A simpler product to operate, built to evolve.

  • Digitised a process previously managed through phone and email.
  • Real-time visibility into the fleet, drivers, and bookings.
  • A foundation ready for online payments, notifications, and GPS tracking.

Customer booking journey

A clear online booking flow, from journey details to confirmation.

  • Select departure, destination, date, and time.
  • Choose a vehicle by type, capacity, and price.
  • Receive a booking confirmation and summary.

Back office

A business workspace that keeps operations under control.

  • Manage the vehicle fleet.
  • Assign drivers to bookings and follow their availability.
  • Edit, cancel, and view all bookings.

Technical foundation

A web application designed to evolve with the business.

  • NestJS API for authentication and booking rules.
  • PostgreSQL and Prisma for data and migrations.
  • Dockerised services deployed to AWS.

ENGINEERING CHALLENGES

Where the complexity lived.

Every journey had to stay reliable, seamless, and practical every day.

01

Avoid scheduling conflicts

Model the relationships between vehicles, drivers, customers, and bookings to prevent double bookings.

02

Serve two audiences

Deliver a simple booking journey for customers while giving teams full control through the back office.

03

Remain available

Keep the application available for bookings made at any time of day.
